How To Set Up An Email Address

When you purchase your hosting package you will be given an email account where you can create several email addresses.

Alternatively there are countless free email accounts available that you can find just by searching on the internet. We recommend using one of the well known names such as Hotmail, Google Gmail or Yahoo.com. There are advantages and disadvantages of using a free email account such as Gmail or Yahoo. The advantage is that you can create multiple email addresses to help combat Spam. The disadvantage of using a free email account is that it may not be seen as very professional therefore we would advise always having your email address with your own dedicated domain.

You may well also have been provided with an email account when purchasing your broadband package. The downside of using the email address with the broadband package is that if you change provider you have lost that email address and will have to start again.
