What Does CMS Mean?
According to Wikipedia.com, CMS means "Content
Management System", a web-content-management system used to manage and control a large, dynamic collection
of Web material (HTML documents and their associated images).
Essentially this allows any number of people the chance to contribute and share data. A web content management
system is a type of CMS that is used to make the process of publishing content to a web site as simple as possible
without having to know a great deal of technical knowledge. A blog is one such type of website that runs on a CMS
system.
