What is Free Hosting

Yes, you can get "free hosting" but of course, it's not quite what it seems.

Free hosting companies usually require that you have their adverts running on your site, they may not have a very good record for "uptime" (you want to be looking for a company that has 99.9% uptime). Uptime is the time your website is live.

There's no point having a wonderful website if the hosting company's servers are always down, no one can visit your site. The other downside is a free hosting company can disappear at a moment's notice leaving you high and dry without any access to your website and their support is not very good.
